How do you feel about winter?
This year I am going to take a seasonal reset throughout winter, I’d love you to join me too.
Hello there,
I love Autumn, the sunny but slightly more crisp edge to the air is always welcome after the humidity of summer here in the Northern Rivers.
However, I have to admit that for a long time I carried some remnants of dread as winter approached. After spending much of my childhood in the New England and university days in Canberra I have memories of winter being long and hard! With my predominately pitta constitution I found the fire on and windows closed overheating and I’d end up with a bright red face and pitta feelings of irritation! (I need a laughing face emoji here!). Overall, in regards to feeling healthy I found it harder to feel balanced during winter.
However as I have learnt more about tuning in with the season I have been able to embrace winter and the opportunity for rest that it provides for us.
As we approach winter this year, I’d love to know if you’re keen to join me for a seasonal reset?
It will be an online offering of yoga, breath work, self massage, neti, practices to optimise sleep and deep rest as well as recipe suggestions and (which I am really looking forward to) some advice on food and supplements from naturopath Alice Flannery . We will also look at our Ayurvedic constitutions and how we can use this knowledge to support our health during the cooler months.
I’m still finalising details and bookings aren’t open yet, but if you’re keen and would like to know more then please get in touch.
Oh also, if you know anyone who might enjoy this email then I’d love to forward it on to them and if you do - thank you so much.
Have a great week!
Love Sarah
