Simple Pranayama.
Learn to implement a daily breath work practice to manage stress, boost digestion and improve sleep. Starts 12th September
Hello there,
I hope you are really well, it’s been a couple of weeks since I have written, just life getting a little busy!
My spring yoga weekend is coming up. It’s the October long weekend which I know means many people have prior commitments. But if you can make it to Yamba then I’d love you to join me. You can learn more about it here.
If you haven’t been on a yoga retreat before, then I really do think these weekends are a lovely entrée into the experience! Guests all stay in their own accommodation, so if you feel that (while often transformative) yoga retreats might remind you a little too much of a school camp then this might appeal to you. Or for the introverts who are anxious that they might have to share more than they’re comfortable with then there is plenty of time to spend alone. And while the meals I serve are vegetarian and wholesome, there is no pressure to ‘detox’ or be told what you cannot eat! There is time to spend at cafes or restaurants or for a glass of wine if that’s what pleasure and rest are for you.
If you’d like to learn more or would me to save you a spot please visit here or just reply to this email.

Simple Pranayama
I am going to be holding my online course all about breath work. The course is self paced and you can take the modules and practices when it suits you.
For a couple of weeks, I am going to be offering this free for members of my online yoga membership which is an economical way to take the course. Membership is $25 a month (with a 14 day free trial and you can cancel anytime). Or if you’d rather just take the course alone without the membership then that is also an option.
What’s in the course?
The weekly modules.
At the start of each week, you will receive the module for the week. These modules are the ‘why behind the how’
The topics are easy to digest and to the point! I’m not here to waste your time - I want you to practice.
What is Breathwork?
Breathing Through your Nose
The Autonomic Nervous System
The Diaphragmatic Breath
Going Deeper Breathwork. Using your breath to release emotions
Daily breath work audio recordings.
Each week you will receive audio recordings of three short daily breathing exercises to practice morning, noon and before bed. These are all under five minutes - totally do-able! These suitable for the time of day, for example the morning breath practice is energising, the midday balancing and the evening one calming.
The weekly Breath & Movement class.
Once a week you I recommend you take an hour long breath & movement class (think: yoga class). This class is designed to strengthen your breathing muscles and to create space in the body for the breath.
You can find out more by visiting the link below. Or, you can reply with any questions.
I’m looking forward to running this course again, I hope you can join me to learn how to include more breathwork in your everyday life.
love Sarah
