When you find yourself in a constant loop of negative thinking, have you noticed that more thinking doesn’t really help?
I know it’s really hard when you’re in the loop, it’s an ongoing practice for me that’s for sure! However when you feel like you’re going around in circles and not getting any clarity by staying in your head then it’s time to move into your body.
Changing the state of your body can help change the state of your mind.
You see, our bodies store our emotions. And they know more than we give them credit for. I love the concept that I can let go of thinking and trust that releasing tension in my body will therefore release tension in my mind.
I invite you to take a little twist at your desk, roll your head from side to side or get down on all fours and move your spine through cat and cow.
